Carolina Panthers, Batch 1

Training Camp

Good stuff. The photos look pretty sharp and the colors are nice. On the ones you shot at ISO 400, I can barely see any noise, except for the darkest areas and I have to look close to see them.

I haven't had much success with noise on my camera at the higher ISO settings.

Thanks. I was fortunate enough that there were enough clouds to soften the sunlight which also helped with the colors. I used ISO 400 as the clouds got thicker and block more sunlight in order to keep the shutter speed high enough for the action. I've been pretty happy with the noise from the camera. ISO 800 is very usable. You will minimize the noise by getting a good exposure.

Thanks Craig. I really have to get out and experiment sometime with higher ISO settings.
