Wreath Berries
I took this photograph of some berries in a wreath above a fireplace to play around with the depth of field of my 50mm f/1.8 lens. It was also a test to see how well it did in low light conditions too. The lens did pretty well if I do say so myself.

I love it. Some of my favorite photos have a shallow depth of field. It's the only thing I miss using when shooting with my 10-20mm lens. I have tried getting photos with a shallow depth of field unsuccessfully. Oh well... Perhaps a 24mm f/1.8 Sigma is in order! :)
Yours is an excellent photo. The colors are bright and unique. I'm not sure I've seen that combination of colors together like that before.
Thanks. It was an Autumn wreath, so it used various seasonal plants which had those colors in them. The light was from an overhead accent lamp aimed at the area over the fireplace. Wish I could say that I planned to have the berries highlighted like that, but it was shear luck.
